Sakıp Aytaç — Biography
Sakıp Aytaç was born on 24 November 1991 in İzmir. He began playing football in the youth ranks of Ceylanspor, then moved into Çanakkale Dardanelspor's academy and signed a professional contract with the club in 2006, joining the first team. He made his official debut for Dardanelspor on 26 April 2009 against Gaziosmanpaşa in a 2. Lig match, and played a part in the club's 2008-09 play-off championship and promotion to the 1. Lig; the team was relegated back to the 2. Lig after a single season.
At the start of the 2011-12 season he transferred to Süper Lig side Gençlerbirliği, then moved on loan to 1. Lig club Denizlispor midway through the season; there he made only two A2 League appearances in half a season, while being called up to Turkey's U-21 team twice during that spell. At the start of 2013 he signed with Tavşanlı Linyitspor. He was capped eight times in total for Turkey's youth teams, two at U-19 level and six at U-21 level.
Later in his career he played for clubs including Kayserispor, Yeni Malatyaspor, Kastamonuspor and Esenler Erokspor. He suffered a long-term injury while at Kayserispor in 2018 and transferred to Yeni Malatyaspor in 2019. In December 2025 he terminated his contract with Kastamonuspor and agreed to join Elazığspor.
