Sabih Arca — Biography
Sabih Arca (1901, Constantinople, Ottoman Empire – 24 April 1979, Istanbul) was a Turkish footballer and later football official who played as a central or left midfielder.
A one-club man, he played for Fenerbahçe from 1918 to 1929, scoring 64 goals in 215 matches and winning the Istanbul Football League in 1920–21 and 1922–23. In 1923 he was in the starting eleven of the side that won the General Harington Cup.
Arca was in the starting line-up of the Turkey national team's first official match, against Romania on 26 October 1923, and scored three goals in nine internationals. He was named in the squads for the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics but made no appearances. In the 1950s he served as an official of the Turkish Football Federation, and in the 1960s and 1970s as a Fenerbahçe official.
