Şaban Genişyürek — Biography
Şaban Yılmaz Genişyürek (born 3 January 1986 in Illertissen) is a German-born German-Turkish footballer. A forward, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
Born in the German town of Illertissen, Genişyürek spent most of his professional career in the Turkish leagues. His most visible spell came at the İzmir club Karşıyaka, where he played as the side's goalscorer and was described in the Turkish sports press as a decisive figure in the team's attack, attracting interest from other clubs during transfer windows.
