Rıdvan Yılmaz — Biography
Born on 21 May 2001 in the Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul, Rıdvan Yılmaz is a 1.74 m tall left-back who came through the Beşiktaş youth academy. He made 62 first-team appearances for the club and played a role in Beşiktaş's league-and-cup double in the 2020-21 season, before moving to Scottish side Rangers in July 2022.
Yılmaz represented Turkey's youth national teams from under-16 to under-21 level in 50 appearances, made his senior international debut in May 2021, and was part of the squad at UEFA Euro 2020. By 2026 he was once again wearing the Beşiktaş jersey, and in July of that year he spoke publicly about his ambition to return to the senior national team.
Yılmaz got engaged in June 2026 and continues his career with Beşiktaş, one of the leading clubs in the Süper Lig.
