Ricky Winslow — Biography
Rickie O'Neal Winslow was born on July 26, 1964, in Houston and stands 2.03 m tall. After starring as a forward at the University of Houston, he was selected 28th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 1987 NBA draft, and went on to appear in seven NBA games with the Milwaukee Bucks during the 1987-88 season.
With his NBA opportunities limited, Winslow built the rest of his career in Europe, enjoying his longest spell — five seasons — with Estudiantes Madrid in Spain. Fenerbahçe brought him to Turkey in 1995, where he played until 2000 and took Turkish citizenship under the name Kartal Reşat Fırıncıoğlu.
He is the father of NBA player Justise Winslow, who has played for the Miami Heat.
