Reha Eken — Biography
Reha Eken (28 August 1925, Istanbul - 19 August 2013, Istanbul) was a Turkish forward and later a coach, remembered as one of the most celebrated players in Galatasaray's history thanks to his long career at the club.
In just four appearances for the Turkey national team he scored six goals, giving him the best goals-per-game ratio of any player to wear the national jersey. He was part of Turkey's squad at the 1948 London Olympics, though he did not feature in any matches there. After retiring as a player, he went on to work as a football coach.
Football ran in the family: his brothers Bülent Eken and Danyal Vuran also played for Galatasaray, with Bülent likewise regarded as a club legend alongside him.
