Ravil Tagir — Biography
Ravil Tagir was born on 6 May 2003 in Taraz, in Kazakhstan's Jambyl Region, and holds both Turkish and Kazakh citizenship. Standing 1.82 m tall and playing as a central defender, he joined the Altınordu youth academy in İzmir at the age of twelve and rose through its ranks toward the Süper Lig.
He made his senior debut with İstanbul Başakşehir, citing Çağlar Söyüncü and Cengiz Ünder as players he modeled his game on, and later spent a loan spell in Belgium with Westerlo where he drew positive attention. In August 2024 he moved from Başakşehir to UAE Pro League club Al Jazira, and by early 2026 Turkish media reports linked his name with a potential move to Beşiktaş.
