Ramazan Özcan — Biography
Ramazan Özcan is a retired Austrian goalkeeper of Turkish descent, born on 28 June 1984 in Hohenems, Austria, with family roots in the Ayancık district of Sinop. He began his career in Austria Lustenau's youth system and went on to play for clubs including Red Bull Salzburg, Hoffenheim, Beşiktaş and FC Ingolstadt 04, finishing his playing days with four seasons as goalkeeper for Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He was also a long-serving member of the Austria national team.
He announced his retirement from playing in July 2020 and stayed on at the same club, moving into a role as a goalkeeping coach within Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youth setup.
