Qemal Omari — Biography
Qemal Omari (1902, Istanbul – 17 November 1962), known in Turkey as Kemal Halim Gürgen, was a Turkish football player, referee and manager of Albanian descent.
In 1926 he was among the founding members of İstanbulspor A.Ş., where he also played before retiring. After his playing career he became a referee and served as general secretary of the Istanbul Football League; in 1932 he notably officiated the match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.
He later moved to Albania, where he took over as manager of Skënderbeu Korçë. He died on 17 November 1962.
