Pini Balili — Biography
Pini Felix Balili is a former Israeli footballer born on 18 June 1979 in Jerusalem. He played as a centre-forward throughout his career and was known as a versatile, two-footed attacker.
Between 2000 and 2007 he earned 29 caps for the Israel national team, scoring seven goals. In Turkey he turned out for clubs including İstanbulspor and Sivasspor, and around the mid-2000s he acquired Turkish citizenship — a bond he reaffirmed by voting in Turkey's 2023 presidential election.
After hanging up his boots, Balili moved into coaching and has continued a career as a football manager.
