Pınar Soykan — Biography
Pınar Soykan (born 24 April 1980, Gölcük) is a Turkish singer. She was raised and educated in Kocaeli until 1999, when she stepped away from her first career as a teacher in the aftermath of that year's İzmit earthquake. In 2004 she moved to Istanbul and entered the Best Model of Turkey contest, finishing among the top 16.
Working with vocal coach Fatih Ertür, she released her debut EP "Kına" in 2011. In 2014 she followed it with her second album, the fantasy-themed "Buğulu Gözler," issued by Doğan Music Company and featuring lyrics from well-known songwriters Yıldız Tilbe and Orhan Ölmez.
She has since recorded under different labels, signing with Avrupa Müzik in 2023 and moving to Sooly Music by 2024. Soykan is married to Orçun Soykan.
