Born Fatma Pınar Aylin on May 12, 1972, in İzmir, she rose to prominence during the 1990s boom of Turkish pop music. Beyond singing, she built a multifaceted career as a songwriter, composer, actress, and television presenter.

The pop albums she released in that decade, and above all her breakout single "Deliler Gibi" (Like Crazy), brought her to a wide audience and established her as one of the leading voices of Turkish pop at the time.

Public attention returned to her decades later: in 2026 interviews, she said she was not a fan of rap music and expressed skepticism toward AI-assisted music production, arguing that digital tools cannot capture the soul of a performance. During this period she was also spotted in İzmir and Istanbul with her daughter Maya, drawing renewed interest in her personal life.
