Pamela Villoresi — Biography

Maria Pamela Villoresi was born on 26 October 1957 in Prato, Italy. She is an Italian actress active in theatre, cinema and television, and has also worked as a TV presenter. Over her career she has appeared in more than a hundred stage productions and over thirty films. She is best known for playing Viola in Paolo Sorrentino's La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty, 2013). Her other film credits include Splendor (1989), Evelina e i suoi figli (1990) and I Killed Napoléon (2015), and she began her screen career in the mid-1970s with titles such as Dimmi che fai tutto per me and Il giocattolo. She has received the Eleonora Duse Award in recognition of her stage work.
