Özhan Eren — Biography
Özhan Eren (born 8 March 1959 in Istanbul) is a Turkish music artist, film director, screenwriter and composer. Coming from a military background, he built an artistic career spanning music and cinema.
As a director and screenwriter he is best known for the films 120 (2008) and Son Mektup (2015), works dealing with episodes of Turkish history. Deeply engaged with the era of the Turkish War of Independence, he settled in Balıkesir in 2022 to make films on the subject. In 2011 he wrote the campaign song "Haydi Bir Daha" for the AK Party.
In 2024 he appeared as a jury member on the television music competition "Sen Türkülerini Söyle".
