Özgür Yıldırım — Biography
Özgür Yıldırım (born 12 September 1979 in Hamburg-Dulsberg, West Germany) is a German-Turkish film director, screenwriter and producer.
He made his feature directorial debut with “Chiko” (2008) and went on to direct “Blutzbrüdaz” (2011) and “Only God Can Judge Me” (2017). For television he directed the film “Zorn Gottes” (2016) and worked on the series “4 Blocks” (2017).
Yıldırım received the German Film Award for Best Screenplay and was nominated for the Deutscher Fernsehpreis.
