Özgür Aktaş — Biography
Özgür Aktaş is a Dutch footballer of Turkish descent, born on 27 January 1997 in Cuijk, Netherlands. Holding dual Dutch and Turkish citizenship, the centre-back came up through Dutch youth football and made his professional debut in 2018 with Vitesse's reserve side, Jong Vitesse.
He went on to play for Eredivisie club Vitesse before moving through the Dutch lower divisions with Fortuna Sittard, Dordrecht, Telstar and MVV, and later returned to his family's homeland of Turkey, joining TFF 2. Lig club Ankaragücü's back line.
