Özgül Kavruk — Biography

Born on December 1, 1977, in the Söke district of Aydın, Özgül Kavruk is a well-known Turkish actress and model. The daughter of Ahmet Kavruk, a former principal of Söke High School, and retired teacher Nigar Kavruk, she began her modeling career in Izmir.

Kavruk started her acting career in 2000 with the series Derman Bey and, a year later, appeared in Böyle mi Olacaktı, broadcast on atv. Often cast in stern, cold-hearted characters, she became widely recognized for playing Beray in Parmaklıklar Ardında, and also appeared in productions such as Sakarya Fırat, Gurbet Kadını, and Sen Benimsin.

She married Ömer Seçkin in 2008, and in later years stepped away from acting to pursue a different path.
