Özbek Kaplan is a Turkish actor born in 1989 in Istanbul. He completed his professional preparation with acting training and began his first known on-screen work in the late 2010s.

The actor's first recorded film experience was the 2018 film Can Feda. In this Turkish production, he gained his first visibility on the big screen by taking a role in a cast that also included Burak Özçivit and Kerem Bürsin.

Özbek Kaplan moved into television the same year, playing the character Metin in the 2018 series Muhteşem İkili. Broadcast on Kanal D, the production's cast included names such as Kerem Bürsin, Eren Hacısalihoğlu, Alper Baytekin, Gökay Müftüoğlu, and Sabahattin Yakut.
