Ozan Evrim Özenç — Biography

İzmir-born goalkeeper Ozan Evrim Özenç grew up in the city's Konak district, arriving in the first week of January 1993, and began his path in the game through the Denizlispor academy before being called up to Turkey's youth sides at an early age. He signed his first professional contract in 2010 and was promoted to the senior squad; at the start of the 2011-12 season he was loaned for a year to newly promoted second-division side Denizli Belediyespor, and his eighteen appearances in the 2013-14 campaign caught the eye of Süper Lig clubs.

That attention led to a transfer to Antalyaspor for a fee of 500,000 lira and a three-and-a-half-year contract. He spent much of his career at Altay, and in November 2022, during a match against derby rivals Göztepe, someone in the crowd hurled an object that struck and injured him. Capped nineteen times for Turkey across the U17 through U21 age groups, the goalkeeper made headlines in early 2026 when reports of his departure from Altay emerged.
