Öykü Serter — Biography

Öykü Serter was born on 26 February 1975 in Ankara. She graduated from the Department of American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University, earned a master's degree in radio and television at Galatasaray University and a doctorate in cinema and media at Bahçeşehir University. She was a national team swimmer in the breaststroke event.

She began her media career as a DJ at Capital Radio and produced programs for Number 1 FM and Cine5. On television she hosted competition shows such as Biri Bizi Gözetliyor, Akademi Türkiye, Star Akademi, Rising Star Türkiye and Fenomen, and presented İşte Benim Stilim on TV8, whose jury consisted of Nur Yerlitaş, İvana Sert and Kemal Doğulu.

Also active as an actress, Serter appeared in the series İstanbul Şahidimdir (2004), Ah Polis Olsam (2006) and İşler Güçler (2012).
