Orhun Ene — Biography

Orhun Ene is a retired Turkish basketball player turned coach, born on 1 February 1967 in Erzurum, who played at point guard during a career that saw him reach 1.88 m. After hanging up his sneakers he moved into coaching, working with a series of clubs over the years and, at one stage, taking charge of Turkey's senior national team.

In late March 2026 he was appointed head coach of Basketbol Süper Ligi club Aliağa Petkim Spor, taking over a side fighting to avoid relegation; by April he said the danger had not fully passed but that the team now had renewed hope.
