Orhan Taşdelen — Biography

Orhan Taşdelen (born 6 February 1987 in Gaziantep) is a retired Turkish footballer, 1.85 m tall, who played as a defender.

Taşdelen joined Gaziantepspor's youth system at age 12, spent seven years there as an amateur, and turned professional in March 2006; in his first professional season he made only three appearances for the first team while captaining the club's reserve side. He was loaned to İnegölspor at the start of the 2007-08 season and then to Kırşehirspor the following season. On 28 August 2009 he transferred to Samsunspor, but was dropped from the squad and sent to the reserve team by coach Vladimir Petković at the start of 2011-12 and left the club at the winter break. He agreed to join Kayseri Erciyesspor for the second half of that season, then moved to Karşıyaka in 2012-13, after which he played for Göztepe and İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.

He transferred to Akhisar Belediyespor at the 2014-15 mid-season point, and with that club won the 2017-18 Turkish Cup on 10 May 2018, Akhisar's first professional trophy. While registered with Akhisar he went out on loan successively to Adana Demirspor, Giresunspor, Kırşehir Belediyespor and 24 Erzincanspor. His playing career ended when his contract with Akhisar Belediyespor expired in the 2021-22 season.
