Orhan Ovacıklı — Biography

Orhan Ovacıklı is a Turkish footballer who plays at right back and is listed at 1.79 m. Born in İzmir, he built his career from the lower leagues up to the captaincy at Çaykur Rizespor, and in later years became one of the experienced names at Erzurumspor FK, where he took on captaincy duties.

He started football in 2001 at Karşıyaka and moved to the Bigaspor youth system in 2007. He joined Bandırmaspor in 2009 and turned professional there, making 93 appearances and scoring twice before 2012. In 2012 he went to Çaykur Rizespor, and before the 2016-17 season he took over the captaincy after Sercan Kaya left the team. In the later part of his career he played for Erzurumspor FK, and the local press described his five years at the club as a period of consistency.

In spring 2026, Erzurumspor's rise and Ovacıklı's form drew wide coverage in the Erzurum local press. In the summer of the same year he was among the players whose contracts the club extended.
