Orhan Hacıyeva — Biography
Orhan Aydın Hacıyev was born on 1 October 1989 in Baku. Standing 2.03 m tall, he plays power forward and holds both Turkish and Azerbaijani citizenship. Over the course of his career he has played for several Turkish Basketbol Ligi clubs, including Galatasaray and Gaziantep Basketbol.
He later joined Yalovaspor, and after leaving that club moved on to Bandırma Bordo (Parmos Bordo), with whom he celebrated a league championship in 2026. In July 2026 he began a new chapter of his career in Mersin.
At the international level, Hacıyev represents Azerbaijan and won a gold medal with the national 3x3 basketball squad at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.
