Onuralp Bitim — Biography

Onuralp Bitim is a 1.98 m Turkish basketball player who plays small forward. His career, which began at Anadolu Efes, took him with Bursaspor to a EuroCup final and then to the NBA with the Chicago Bulls; since 2024 he has played for Fenerbahçe, the club he has supported since childhood. He won the Basketbol Süper Ligi All-Star Slam Dunk Contest in 2018 and 2020.

At Anadolu Efes in 2017-18 he played on a dual licence and made his EuroLeague debut against Fenerbahçe; in 2018-19 he won the Basketbol Süper Ligi title with the club, and late in that season he set career highs against Sakarya BŞB with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. He then played for Pınar Karşıyaka (2019-2021) and Bursaspor (2021-2023). He took Bursaspor to the 2022 EuroCup final and was named to the EuroCup Second Team in 2023.

He went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft; after working out with NBA teams in the summer of 2023, he signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls and Windy City Bulls in July, and averaged 3.5 points in 23 games in his first season. On 8 November 2024 he agreed a deal with Fenerbahçe Beko through the 2027-28 season and spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich. His first match in a Fenerbahçe shirt was the 2025 Presidential Cup final, won against Beşiktaş Gain on 24 September 2025. He won a silver medal with Turkey at EuroBasket 2025. His father, Mustafa Kemal Bitim, also played basketball for Fenerbahçe.
