Onur Seyit Yaran — Biography

Onur Seyit Yaran was born on 13 January 1995 in Istanbul, with family roots in Ordu, and began his career as a model, winning Best Model of Turkey in 2016 and going on to represent the country at Best Model of World. He crossed over into acting in the series Kalk Gidelim and went on to feature in Vuslat the following year, before reaching a much wider audience in 2021 as a lead in the youth drama Kardeşlerim, for which he won Rising TV Star at the GQ Men of the Year awards.

He shared the Best On-Screen Couple prize with Su Burcu Yazgı Coşkun at the 2022 Golden Butterfly Awards and also represented Turkey at a Spanish awards ceremony. In 2024 he took roles in the Star TV series Yan Oda and the film Aşkın Yüzü. He was announced in 2026 as a SAT commando in the TRT tabii series Operasyon Alesta, and drew attention again that year for the film Yaz Evi, co-starring Mina Demirtaş, which premiered at a gala in Bodrum.
