Onur Bilge — Biography

Onur Bilge was born on February 18, 1983 in Tunceli. He began his university studies in industrial engineering at Dokuz Eylül University, but after discovering theater during this period he decided it was the right field for him and transferred to the Acting Department of the university's Faculty of Fine Arts, where he completed his education. For his performance in the play Woyzeck, staged during his student years, he won the Arda Kanpolat Best Actor Award in 2011. He had his first on-camera experience with the 2005 series Kırık Kanatlar, and later appeared in the series Çalıkuşu in 2013 and Gamsız Hayat in 2015. In 2014 he stepped onto the big screen with the film İncir Reçeli 2. In 2018 he portrayed the character Ejder in the series Gülperi, broadcast on Show TV, sharing the cast with names such as Nurgül Yeşilçay and Timuçin Esen.
