Onur Ayık — Biography

Onur Ayık (born 28 January 1990 in Walsrode) is a German-born Turkish footballer. Usually described as a winger, he has also been used as a forward and as an attacking midfielder, and has represented Turkey at several youth international levels.

Ayık was developed in Germany within Werder Bremen before moving into the Turkish league system, where he played for Elazığspor, Kardemir Karabükspor and Akhisar Belediyespor, appearing with the latter in the UEFA Europa League during the 2018-19 season. He agreed terms with Tuzlaspor in 2020 and subsequently played for Ümraniyespor, featuring in the club's strong run in the TFF First League.

Turkish sources sometimes give his date of birth as 29 January 1990, but the principal records agree on 28 January 1990. Turkish Wikipedia describes him as a former player while English-language sources still list him as active.
