Onur Akbay is a Turkish actor born in 1990 in Diyarbakır.

Akbay completed his education at Çukurova University and then pursued an acting career.

The project that introduced him to wide audiences was the series Sıfır Bir, released on the internet and set in Adana. Playing the character Cihat Sarsılmaz in the series, whose cast included actors such as Savaş Satış, Cihangir Ceyhan, Özgür Meriç and Bertan Uçar, Akbay received great acclaim with this role and became one of the memorable faces of the production, which gained cult status among internet series.
