Olcan Adın — Biography

Born into a family steeped in sport in Balıkesir, Olcan Adın began playing football in the Balıkesirspor academy before his performances at Kartalspor caught the attention of Fenerbahçe's youth scouts, leading to a professional contract with the club. A left-sided defender who could also play out wide, he won a Süper Lig title with Fenerbahçe, and later played for Karşıyaka, Gaziantepspor and Trabzonspor. While at Trabzonspor, he scored three times in a single UEFA Europa League match, a performance that proved decisive in sending his team through to the next round. He moved to Galatasaray in 2014, where he won the league, the domestic cup and the super cup, and later helped Akhisarspor claim the club's first-ever official trophy. He made his senior national team debut against Slovakia in 2012 and scored his only goal for Turkey against Sweden in 2014.

After retiring from playing, Adın moved into coaching and joined Selçuk İnan's staff at Kasımpaşa in 2022. In January 2026, he was named among the coaches referred to the disciplinary board as part of the Turkish Football Federation's betting investigation.
