Oğuzhan Kayar — Biography
Oğuzhan Kayar is an attacking midfielder and winger who made his name when Galatasaray signed him from Manisaspor as a youngster. He won the 2013-14 Turkish Cup in the yellow and red, and later continued his career in the lower divisions.
He began in football in 2006 at Aydınspor 1923 and then played for Güneşspor and SHÇEK Spor. In June 2011 he joined Manisaspor, where he scored freely for the U-17 and U-18 sides before reaching the first team in the second tier against Ankaraspor on 18 August 2013. On 10 October of that year he made his Turkey U-19 debut against the Netherlands. His form in the middle of that season caught Galatasaray's scouts, and he signed on 30 January 2014 for a reported fee of about €750,000. His first official match for Galatasaray was a Turkish Cup tie against Antalyaspor on 12 February 2014, starting on the left wing.
Regular minutes at the big club did not come, and loan spells followed. In 2014-15 he scored four goals in 25 league matches at his former club Manisaspor, adding a cup goal. In 2015 he scored twice in 11 league matches at Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor, then in January 2016 was loaned to Şanlıurfaspor. In August 2016 he joined Aydın 1923 Spor, in his home city, and in August 2017 he left Galatasaray altogether. Since then he has played in the lower leagues; sources name either Kuşadasıspor or Tarsus İdman Yurdu as his latest club.
