Neşat Gülünoğlu — Biography
Neşat Gülünoğlu was born on 4 January 1979 in Herne, West Germany. A German-born player of Turkish descent, he stood 1.74 meters tall and played mainly as a forward.
Gülünoğlu began his football career in Germany, becoming best known for his spell with VfL Bochum. During his career he also moved to Italy, playing for Serie A club AS Roma and becoming one of the relatively few Turkish footballers to have worn the Roma jersey.
Now retired from professional football, Gülünoğlu is remembered as one of the Turkish players who competed in Italy's top division.
