Nejat Uygur — Biography
Nejat Uygur, born in Istanbul in 1995, is commonly known as Nejat Uygur Jr. to distinguish him from his father Behzat Uygur, his uncle Süheyl Uygur, and his grandfather and namesake, the celebrated Turkish stage actor Nejat Uygur. His grandfather was one of the best-known figures in Turkish theatre and film history, received the State Artist title in 1998, and died in 2013.
Educated at Ted College, the younger Uygur made his film debut in the 2016 movie Kaçma Birader. He raised his profile in 2017 by playing Hikmet in the Fox TV series Bizim Hikaye.
In the following years he played Hakan in the 2020 series Kırmızı Oda and Mert in the 2021 series Kağıt Ev.
