Naci Şensoy — Biography
Naci Şensoy is a football man from Prizren in Kosovo who began playing in Turkey and then spread his coaching career across Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania. He is best known for taking over Pirin Blagoevgrad in the autumn of 2015, when the club sat near the bottom of the Bulgarian top flight, and keeping it clear of relegation at the end of that season. He is credited with turning around a side that had been stuck in the bottom places, and the Turkish press covered his Bulgarian spell closely. He holds Turkish citizenship.
As a player he turned out for Manisaspor and Vanspor. After retiring from playing he moved into coaching, again in Turkey: he worked at Istanbulspor and then took charge of a few lower-league Turkish sides. His next stop was Turan Tovuz in Azerbaijan. He coached several clubs in Bulgaria, the last of them Lokomotiv Plovdiv. On 2 July 2011 he took over the Serbian SuperLiga side BSK Borča, but left a month later, before the season had begun.
After Pirin Blagoevgrad he won the 2016-17 Macedonian Football Cup with Pelister. In October 2021 he was appointed head coach of Manisa FK, but the job lasted just one match. In Albania he was part of Laçi's Kategoria e Parë title in 2025-26.
