Mustafa Yürür — Biography

Born on 26 June 1938 in Istanbul, Mustafa Yürür was a Turkish international footballer and football manager who played as a midfielder. He spent the bulk of his career with Galatasaray, where he was one of the club's key players through the 1960s and contributed to many of the team's successes during that period. With 222 league appearances, he ranks 17th on the list of players with the most top-flight matches for Galatasaray.

During his playing days he was widely known by the nickname "Böbrek Mustafa" (Kidney Mustafa). He earned 18 caps for the Turkey national football team between 1960 and 1968, and went on to work as a manager after retiring as a player.
