Mustafa Topaloğlu — Biography
Mustafa Topaloğlu (born 1957 in Hopa) is a Turkish singer widely known by his nickname 'Uzaylı Türkücü' ('the Alien Folk Singer'), earned through his flamboyant stage persona and frequent appearances on entertainment television. His public profile broadened considerably in 2012, when he competed on the reality competition show Survivor.
In the 1990s Topaloğlu co-founded the label Prestij Müzik together with his brother Hilmi Topaloğlu. He has also made headlines as a self-declared admirer of former U.S. President Barack Obama, for whom he once released a tribute single. He remained active as a recording artist into 2026, releasing new songs such as 'Sitem' and 'Bambam Star' and continuing to draw media attention for his lively live performances.
His son, Çağlayan Topaloğlu, is also a musician, extending the family's presence in the Turkish music scene.
