Mustafa Özkan — Biography
Mustafa Özkan is a retired professional footballer who was born on 21 February 1975 in Forchheim, Germany, holding both Turkish and German citizenship. Standing 1.89 m tall, the forward began his senior career in Germany, spending two seasons with 2. Bundesliga side Stuttgarter Kickers before moving on to Turkish football.
Back in Turkey, he turned out for several clubs, including Beşiktaş, Gençlerbirliği, MKE Ankaragücü and Malatyaspor, and wound down his playing days with Çaykur Rizespor during the 2009-10 season.
Despite being born in Germany, Özkan opted to represent Turkey internationally, earning a single senior cap in a friendly against Ukraine on 12 February 2003.
