Murat Ceylan — Biography

Murat Ceylan is a Turkish musician, reality-show contestant and actor, born on 15 May 1991 in Istanbul. After high school he moved to London to study Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, and also graduated from the Advertising Department of İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi. He began playing piano at age two and took eight years of music lessons from Ergican Saydam, a professor at the Istanbul State Conservatory.

He became widely known in 2013 by competing on the Volunteers team in the third season of Survivor Ünlüler-Gönüllüler, hosted by Acun Ilıcalı, and in 2014 he raced through a different city each week alongside Almeda Abazi on TV8's Para Bende. In 2016 he released the album Yeni Nesil, which he wrote and composed himself, arranged by Ozan Doğulu and Çağrı Sertel, and the same year had his first acting role as Ateş in the series Familya. In 2018 he returned to compete again as part of the Survivor All Star cast.
