Murat Akyüz — Biography
Murat Akyüz is a retired Turkish footballer born on 13 August 1981 in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul, who played as a fullback. He came through the Galatasaray youth academy before representing numerous clubs across Turkish football, including Adana Demirspor, Orduspor, Denizlispor, Samsunspor, Osmanlıspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Karşıyaka and Elazığspor.
His playing career came to a close at Istanbul club Vefa, and he is remembered today as a well-traveled veteran of the domestic game.
