Müjde Yüksel — Biography
Müjde Yüksel (born 9 March 1981 in Kadıköy, Istanbul) is a former Turkish basketball player and an academic. Listed at 1.80 m and playing as a forward, she made 52 appearances for the Turkish women's national team.
After starting out with Migrosspor she moved to Fenerbahçe, winning a Turkish Women's Basketball League title, two Turkish Cups and a President's Cup across two seasons there. She spent 2005-06 with Beşiktaş and 2006-07 with Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyespor. With the national team she took gold at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain.
She turned to academia after retiring from the game, completing a doctorate at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and joining the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University in August 2014 as an assistant professor of marketing.
