Mousse T. — Biography
Born Mustafa Gündoğdu on October 2, 1966, in Hagen, Germany, Mousse T. is a German-Turkish DJ, record producer and composer. His stage name blends the French ("Mousse") and English ("T") renderings of "Musti," a nickname derived from Mustafa. Alongside contemporaries such as Boris Dlugosch, DJ Tonka and Ian Pooley, he is regarded as one of the earliest producers to shape Germany's house music scene.
He reached a wide audience with the 1998 house track "Horny '98," known for its "I'm horny" hook, but achieved his biggest international breakthrough in 2000 with "Sex Bomb," recorded with Tom Jones for Jones' 1999 album "Reload." Throughout his career he has remained active in both house and pop music through his own productions and remix work, and has also composed music for film.
Beyond record production, Mousse T. became a familiar face on German television as a judge on season 15 of the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar.
