Metin Depe — Biography

Metin Depe is a retired Turkish footballer born on 10 November 1981 in Samsun. A defender by position, he played for clubs including Boluspor, Göztepe and Fethiyespor during his career.

In 2012 he gave testimony at the Bursa courthouse as part of a match-fixing investigation. After retiring from football, Depe said in a 2017 interview that he had worked as a house painter and sold simit (Turkish bread rings) to make a living.
