Merve Aladağ — Biography

Merve Aladağ is a Turkish women's footballer born in 1993 in the Akçadağ district of Malatya, where she also began playing the sport. She drew attention while scoring 21 goals for second-tier club Altınşehir Lisesi in the 2011-12 season before moving on to Ataşehir Belediyespor.

At Ataşehir Belediyespor she netted 27 goals in 21 matches, earning the nickname "goal queen," and also featured in the UEFA Women's Champions League that season, scoring once. She later joined Kireçburnu, spending three seasons there before transferring to Karadeniz Ereğli Belediyespor. Aladağ has also represented the Turkish women's national team and played at the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
