Mert Akyüz — Biography

Hayrullah Mert Akyüz (born October 2, 1993, in Gülağaç, Aksaray) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He stands 1.89 m tall.

Over his career he has played for clubs such as Adanaspor and Ankaraspor. A Turkey under-20 international, he was called up to senior national team squads around 2016-2017, when he also drew interest from Galatasaray.

In later years he continued his career in the lower divisions, including a spell with Sivas Belediyespor.
