Meltem Akçöl — Biography

Meltem Akçöl is one of the younger generation of Turkish television actresses, carrying stage and camera experience that began in childhood into a screen career from 2021. She is mostly associated with Hazal in Duy Beni and İpek in Gülcemal, and is part of the cast of Operasyon Alesta.

She worked as a child model from the age of three to six and took part in theatre plays and school events in primary school. Her first professional acting role came in Kırık Hayatlar, which began airing in 2021, as Deniz Yılmaz. In 2022 she played Hazal in Duy Beni, which brought her to a wider audience; in an interview she said she was proud of that character. In 2023 she played İpek in Gülcemal.

In 2024 she played Sultan in the series Kara Ağaç Destanı and, in the summer, Zeynep Akay in the film Karantina, adapted from the novel of the same name, extending her work from television to cinema. She later joined the cast of the project Operasyon Alesta.
