Melisa Emirbayer — Biography
Melisa Emirbayer was born on 2 November 1995 in İzmir. She graduated from the Swimming Coaching programme of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Dokuz Eylül University.
Because she was hyperactive as a child, she took up swimming at the age of seven. She swam for major clubs such as Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, competed on behalf of the national team and won numerous Turkish championships, breaking several records over the course of her career.
In 2019 she reached a wider audience as a contestant on Survivor 2019 Turkey vs. Greece, broadcast on TV8.
