Mehtap Taşkıran was born on 20 April 1985 in Yozgat and studied Banking and Insurance at Anadolu University. She gained her real fame through the marriage reality show Kısmetse Olur, which began airing in 2015. Having already competed in the first season of the program, she entered the house again as a contestant in the second season. Drawing attention with her sharp tongue and the arguments she stirred up in the house, she became one of the most talked-about names on the show. Mehtap Taşkıran, who had previously married and divorced and has a daughter, tried her luck at marriage once more on Kısmetse Olur.
