Mehmet Yılmaz — Biography
Mehmet Hilmi Yılmaz (born 22 May 1979 in Of, Trabzon) is a Turkish retired footballer who played as a striker and later became a manager. He stands 1.85 m tall.
During his career he played for numerous Turkish clubs, including Trabzonspor, Altay, Ankaragücü, Eskişehirspor, Denizlispor, Samsunspor, Antalyaspor, Osmanlıspor, Gaziantepspor and Akhisar Belediyespor. Known as a goalscorer, he spent many years in the country's top and lower divisions.
Yılmaz represented Turkey at under-21 and B (A2) level and also appeared for the senior national team. After ending his playing career he moved into coaching.
