Megi Kobaladze — Biography

Megi Kobaladze (Georgian: მეგი კობალაძე, born 31 May 1986) is a Georgian stage and screen actress. She enrolled in the Drama and Cinema department at Shota Rustaveli University in Tbilisi in 2003, appearing during her studies in stage productions including Orpheus Descending, Three Sisters and A View from the Bridge. In 2007 she joined the Ilia Chavchavadze National Theatre in Batumi, continuing her work on stage.

Her screen debut came with Sonbahar (Autumn, 2008), directed by Özcan Alper, which marked her first film role. The production was shown at national events such as the Ankara Film Festival and drew attention alongside the awards Alper received as director.
