Mahmut Sönmez — Biography
Mahmut Sönmez, born 25 January 1990 in Rotterdam, is a Turkish-Dutch footballer who played as a winger throughout his career. After playing amateur football in his native Rotterdam, he began his professional career in July 2012 with the German club Preußen Münster.
He made his 3. Liga debut a month later, coming on as a substitute for Rico Schmider in a 2-1 loss to SV Darmstadt 98. He left Münster after just one season, having made three appearances for the club.
